Summertime Italian Soda

Italian Sodas are one of my favorite summer drinks.  They are a hit with kids too.  My niece and nephews always request one when they come for a visit.  The flavor possibilities are endless.  World Market has an excellent selection of Torani syrups.  My favorite combination is raspberry and vanilla.  Kiwi and strawberry mixed together is quite tasty too :)

Ingredients:

Torani syrup
Club Soda
Half & Half

Fill cup with ice and add club soda.

Pour desired amount of flavored syrup and stir.

If you want to take your Italian Soda to the next level of yumminess, add some half & half.  I am a huge fan of Shatto milk.  If you live in the Kansas City area you have to give it a try.  Their root beer milk is ridiculously good.

It's crucial you add the half & half as the last step.  If you pour club soda over cream it turns into a bubbly mess, trust me :)

Take your drink out to the patio and sit back and relax!

We love Italian soda...especially with cream! We get them when we go to Johnny Carinos. yum!

Every time we go there I think about looking up how to make them and trying it at home so thanks for the recipe! {Plus I can always use an excuse to go to World Market}

Hi! I hung around to read some earlier posts. I spy a Jimmy Johns sub on the table. My favorite sub in the world! Yum!
And that little Stanley is oh so precious!

Oh we love these too - and you have to add the cream - it's just not the same with out it! I'll have to give it a try with the vanilla - we usually just use the berry flavors but that sounds mighty tasty. :)

Yum! I love Italian soda but I've never made one myself. I usually get them at the coffee shop near my office and every time I get one I wonder why I am not making them myself because they are ridiculously expensive! I'm so glad you posted this Emily! I'll be making one this weekend for sure.

We love Italian sodas around here. Raspberry is the best too. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice note.
How do you round the edges of your photos? It looks so nice that way.
