Gourds Galore

I've been eyeing all the cute gourds every time I'm at the grocery store.  While shopping this afternoon I noticed they were marked down to 20 for a $1.00.  20 for a $1.00?!?  Let's just say I went a little gourd crazy :)  Once I got home I realized I probably didn't need 20.  I would have been fine buying a few.  Oh well!

I added a few to the dining room table centerpiece.  Three down, seventeen to go...

Score! That is a great, great deal, but you don't need me to tell you that:) They should last great through Thanksgiving too.

I'm so glad you linked to Favorite Things Sat., because it got me over here to see your pretty blog. Your centerpiece looks so pretty. I love that beaded container. At that price, I would have bought 20 too. You can use those through Thanksgiving. What a buy! Thank you for linking up. laurie

Great deal! They are so pretty in your vignette. I usually buy a bag of the ornamental gourds, but did not this year - just used the faux ones.
Enjoy your weekend.

I love the rich colors of the gourds! They're great for little vignettes around the house. The more the better (:

3 down, 17 to go, LOL. Hope you found a good spot for the rest. I can not believe they were 20 for $1.00! Around here they are 2 for a $1, even at the farmers market! It's ridiculous.

I bought some too, but mine started looking like they were rotting! (: Can you spray paint gourds?
