My tomatoes have been planted! I decided to branch out this year and try to grow a few heirloom tomatoes. I hope they do okay because I'm eager to see what the tomatoes look like. Mr. Stripey, Cherokee Purple, Black Krim, Pineapple... I can't wait to eat them!!

Emily - all of the tomatoes sound so delicious. I love the names! I've always wanted to try heirlooms but in my condo I am pretty much limited to two pots on my deck! I am super jealous of all your yard space for multiple tomato plants!
Nothin' says lovin' like the taste of a home-grown tomato. Your tomato bed looks wonderful. Also can wait to see your front yard landscape all finished.
I remember you being really good at gardening...I think from last year. My tomatoes were a flop! :(
oh how fun!!! I think I need to do some container gardening this year. You've inspired me. ;)
Hi Emily! Your tomatoes look tasty already. I love home grown tomatoes so I am attempting to grow one this year and it already has tomatoes on it. Hopefully tasting will not be far off.

I love tomatoes and I do hope my hubby plants some this year. We have issues with deer though. Yours look like they should do good in that rich soil
How nice Emily to have your own garden. I tried the topsy turveys last year and they were a fail for me.
You have a lovely blog and your recipes look delicious! It is our dream to have a garden like that one day.
Thanks for the visit.
Take care,
Kristen
I really need to get mine planted! We have used almost all chef jeff heirloom tomatoes the last couple of years and they are super YUM!!! I especially like the pineapple/ yellow ones. Happy gardening!

That's going to be so fun when they come in! I've never even heard of these types of tomatoes, but they sound interesting!
I just got our first tomato plant of the year, he now needs some friends - your selection is great!
