I'm not a big fan of baking cookies. I get the urge to whip up a batch maybe once or twice a year. For the last few weeks I have been really excited to make some cute Valentine cookies. I had all the stuff ready to go and then our silly oven decided to stop working. Our brand new oven arrived yesterday and before my husband had a chance to hook it up, the sugar cookie dough was made. I used the recipe from my favorite cooking blog, Our Best Bites. Click here for the cookie recipe.

Thanks so much for stopping by again. Those cookies look really good right about now with a glass of cold milk. Yum!

Yummy!!
They look de-lish! My mom made us some for Valentine's day and I ate all 14 of them within two hours. I am thinking of becoming a competitive eater!

The look sooooo yummy.....I'll have to get that recipe.....I don't bake often either....like you, I fire up that oven once or twice a year.
Thanks for coming to visit and for your sweet comments!
Warm blessings,

Yummy! I bought everything I needed for valentines cookies, and then I ran out of time! Oh well, who says it has to be Feb 14 for heart shaped cookies, right?
Beautiful and scrumptious looking! Love your blog!

Why can't we make heart sugar cookies year round??? They make me smile!:)
Those look delicious! Tonight I have to settle for a couple of Girl Scout Shortbread. Wish I had homemade cookies... Nothing better. PS I really need to get one of those crocheted hats for my granddaughter, so cute!
