Helloooo Tomatoes!

I was out of town last week and came back to a garden full of ripe tomatoes!!
Thanks to my hubby for taking such good care of my garden and flowers while I was gone. :)
I ate several of the cherry tomatoes last night and they were so tasty.
Summer is here and I'm loving it – triple digit heat index and all!!

Yum! Nothing like a home grown tomato, is it? I will be putting up salsa these next few weeks, living off tomato sandwiches, and enjoying them as long as they are making. Having fresh from the garden - peas, butter beans, corn, cornbread, and fresh sliced tomatoes for supper tonight. Absoulutely nothing better! Have a great week.

Your tomatoes look PRETTY! As well as tasty! Ours aren't even close to ripening yet but in time there will be abundance...in the meantime, we've enjoyed kohlrabi, lettuce, radishes and snow peas...and most of all, FLOWERS!

I officially have serious tomato envy! Ours got into the ground late this year so we are way behind. I will just have to love vicariously through you!

Love the photos of your tomatoes. We have a lot of tomatoes right now. I've been canning and making tomato sauce for the past few weeks. I have a tomato recipe that I just put up on my blog that you may want to try. It is very easy and uses frozen puff pastry.
