My New Wreath

I was in a craft making mood today so I made a stop at Hobby Lobby to see what I could find.  When I spotted the grapevine wreaths I knew what my next project was going to be!  I had most of the supplies at home so I just grabbed the wreath and a few sprigs of greenery.

I used the new greenery as the base for my wreath.

I can't get enough of this reindeer moss!  I knew I had to add some to my wreath but wasn't quite sure how to attach it.  I looked around my craft room and spotted a ball of twine and decided to tie it around the moss and then around the wreath.  It worked great!

Make sure it's nice and tight then cut off the extra twine.

At the last minute I added some curly willow.

And here's the final product.

For now it's hanging on the inside of our front door so I can enjoy looking at my hard work!  I never go through the front door so once it's there I won't get to see it very often.

Great wreath. I love reindeer moss too.. adds color and texture to anything. I like the idea of putting it inside the front door. I'm another who never uses my front door.. I also never see the front of my house since the side entrance and driveway are on the side. I miss a lot of my hard work too. Maybe I should make something for the inside of the front door. Great idea.
