Farmers Market

Today was the first of many Saturday mornings that will be spent at the farmers market this summer.  What a fun place to shop for fruits and veggies!  Apparently a lot of other people think so because that place was packed.

I already bought some fresh mozzarella to make our first caprese salad of the year, and I am eager to use the potatoes and onions for this recipe.

We almost made it the the farmers market this weekend, but something came up and we missed it which I was really bummed about. So I will just have to live vicariously through your gorgeous pictures!

Now I need to find a farmers market. Your pictures are always so beautiful - even if it's a picture of an onion! I have that same tiered serving set and you've inspired me to get it out and use it. :)

Love your photos.... but where did you find such a great holder for those bowls?? I love it. I look forward to fresh market stands too! Nothing quite like market goodness!

I don't know what is in the bottom photo. They look like cherries but are yellow. I'm puzzled!

I just saw your link for summertime Italian soda...need to go check that out!
We love the farmers market, but ours was so packed yesterday, too! I was worried I would lose one of the kids! Your pictures are so pretty! We always eat so much healthier after a day at the market (except for the whoopie pies!)
