Garden Fresh Tomatoes

 IMG_1058-5
There are so many things I love about summer.  Right at the top of my list are garden fresh tomatoes.  My garden produced an excellent crop last year and I'm hoping it will do the same this summer.  I'm ready for lots of yummy salads and BLT's!

I love tomatoes, too. Good ole drippy mayonaisy tomato sandwich. We don't grow our own due to not a good sunny spot of land that the deer won't devour. We usually get some given to my husband at work from other people's gardens. Last year the crops were not good due to too much rain. I hope this year is better.

Oh... I'm drooling... I love home-grown tomatos. Usually I get a good supply from my mom but this year we have a new yard with sun and we're going to plant our own.

I'm super excited!! :)

PS: Thanks for always stopping by my blog and leaving nice comments, you are a sweetie!

There is nothing better than garden fresh tomatoes. Your pictures are beautiful. It is going to be a while before I can start my garden--60 degrees today, snow Friday--what gives.

I am so ready to start planting! It's still a little to soon. Hope you don't mind me asking but - Do you use any fertilizer on your tomatoes? What variety do you plant? They look really big?

Me too, me too, me too! I am so ready to get my garden planted again. The weather here is still a bit crazy, but I am counting down the days.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

We don't have a garden but we do have a very hot sunny raised flower bed in front of our picture windows. Sooo, instead of flowers we have lots of tomatoes. Your pictures are magazine worthy! What B&W course are you taking? I'd love to see some of the cereal box shots. The blossom shot is great. I look forward to seeing some more.
Take Care,
Dana

Ahh ... how I love tomatoes! My favorite sandwich is one made with sliced tomatoes, a bit of salt, and a thin spreading of mayo on lightly toasted bread. Yummy!!

You're making my mouth water! Fresh tomatoes are one of my favorite things about summer. I always grow a bunch of different kinds along with cilantro and peppers. Fresh tomatoes make the best salsa!
