For the past week or so I have been craving a Blonde Brownie. I decided to give in and bake a batch. Oh wow - I forgot how much I love this recipe! It's so easy and super tasty. I also forgot that I lose all sense of self control when there is a pan of baked goods on my counter. :)
Mix:
1/3 cup Butter
1 ¼ cup Brown Sugar, packed (I use dark brown sugar)
2 Eggs
Add:
1 ¼ cup Flour
1 ¼ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
Stir together. Spread batter in a greased 8”x8” pan. Sprinkle with your choice of topping. I love the taste and crunch of almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 30min.

Gem Photo Magnets
I can never throw away the picture index that comes with printed photographs. All those little tiny pictures are so cute! In the past I’ve used magazine pictures and scrapbook paper to make gem magnets. This time I decided to give these little photos a try…

The Bathroom is done!!!
I am wondering why it took us two years to tackle this bathroom! We were a little worried about removing the wallpaper but that turned out to be the easiest step of the project.

Laundry Room Make Over
We walk through our laundry room MANY times a day since it's our entry way from the garage. It was a space that did nothing for me. Blah. White. Boring. I ran the idea past by husband of adding a countertop in the room and by that weekend he had it installed! We also added beadboard to the main wall. Whew, busy weekend! After I painted the walls a soft sage green and added some accessories, the room became a cozy little spot that we enjoy seeing everyday.
